support for women and families
Here, we're including organisations and groups who specifically aim to support pregnant women in making choices, offering information and / or advice out about specific issues or who provide ethically positioned services.
We've included a couple of the key organisations which are listed on our friends page, but you might want to look there too, as some of the midwifery and birth-related organisations listed there also provide services or information for pregnant women.
We've also tried to steer clear of organisations which are limited to one specific moral or religious belief system - as our belief is that women are entitled to information which is as unbiased as possible. Having said that, we should probably point out that we believe strongly in the beauty and power of women's bodies to give birth in the way they have for millenia!
